Anne Curtis Smith has received numerous honors in her career. Among them are the two FAMAS Awards she won in the years 2008 and 2009 as well as the Luna Award. Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina born in Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who is an Australian lawyer. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga in Victoria, Australia. Her father James Ernest Curtis-Smith, married Ojales back in 1982. Her younger sister, who is also an actor and her father is also an actor. From their father's perspective, they had a half-sister named Clare who died in 2007 of a heart disease when she was four months old.
