Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis Smith has received numerous honors in her career. Among them are the two FAMAS Awards she won in the years 2008 and 2009 as well as the Luna Award. In addition to this, Anne Curtis Smith was also nominated for five PMPC Star Awards. Additionally she has also been selected for nominations to two Gawad Urian Awards and 8 PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Anne Curtis is a Filipina Australian actress, model and television host. The 2014 film Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel she played Dyesebel who is a Komiks iconic character. Her other roles include hosting the popular midday show Showtime between 2009 and 2020. Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina born in Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who is an Australian lawyer. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga in Victoria, Australia. Her father James Ernest Curtis-Smith, married Ojales back in 1982. Her younger sister, who is also an actor and her father is also an actor. From their father's perspective, they had a half-sister named Clare who died in 2007 of a heart disease when she was four months old.
